Description of the facility The logistics building is on a 190,664 m² site in the municipality of Graben. The business park is situated on the four-lane B 17 (direct connection to the A 8 Munich-Stuttgart motorway), approx. 25 km from the centre of Augsburg. The warehouse and office space is divided into 4 compartments by 3 firewalls. A total of 64 delivery doors are located at the front and back. The shell is a precast reinforced concrete element structure with a 24 m x 12 m column grid (598 columns, 266 girders, 1190 holding beams). Up to a height of 2.50 m, the facade consists of reinforced concrete sandwich panels. Above that, it continues with insulated panels. The roof structure consists of trapezoidal steel sheeting with thermal insulation and impermeable membrane. A vacuum system has been selected for rainwater drainage. Rain and runoff water are drained into infiltration basins. The entrance area is architecturally emphasised by a stair tower and steel truss bridge (approx. 32m) affording access to the office areas. A link to the ground floor is provided by 4 stairwells, some with lifts. To the northwest of the logistics building, outside the fenced site, is a staff car park with spaces for around 800 cars and 15 trucks. This parking facility is part of the overall investment.
