Special features Building on past success, BREMER has again been contracted to construct the Mömax warehouse extension in Uffenheim as well as a new central warehouse for XXXLutz. Before building work commences, approx. 170,000 sqm of earth needs to be moved within 6 weeks to level the site.
Description of the facility The logistics centre is situated on the Uffenheim industrial estate directly alongside the A7 motorway. Altogether, the project consists of 2 building sections with a total of 6 high-bay sections measuring approx. 10,000 sqm each. The building is a BREMER precast reinforced concrete element structure with trapezoidal sheet roof. The facade is realised as a precast reinforced concrete base topped with thermally insulated steel sandwich elements. All office and social facilities are accommodated on the mezzanine levels inside the hall. In certain areas, the reinforced concrete floor slab is designed to DIN 15185 for narrow-aisle storage operations and is monolithically fabricated in a single operation.
