The building essentially comprises a logistics hall and a handling hall. The handling hall adjoins an existing office building. The roof areas (approx. 15,600 sqm) are all extensively greened. Approx. 120,000 cbm of earth was placed on the construction site as fill material (up to a height of 7 m). Description of the facility The structure of the building consists of a precast reinforced concrete skeleton with trapezoidal sheet metal roof cladding and metal cassette facades. Loading houses, or dock pods, are provided for loading operations. In the halls, a full-area sprinkler system is fed from a single underground sprinkler tank. The fire alarm system also covers the whole area. Along Markgröninger Strasse, a 210 m long gabion wall was erected to a height of up to 7 m.
