The adjacent Amazon logistics centre is connected to the handling hall by a 40.0 m long transport bridge. Description of the facility The freight centre is on an approx. 38,000 m² Rheinberg municipality site directly adjacent to the Amazon logistics centre. The building consists of BREMER precast reinforced concrete elements and is column-free, spanned with 50.0 m long BREMER reinforced concrete girders. The outer facade consists of precast reinforced concrete element walls with uninterrupted rows of polycarbonate light panels as well as insulated steel facades. Apart from the freight centre, the construction project also includes a 2 storey office building and all outdoor facilities with a total paved area of 15,000 m².
