KG logistics facility. Description of the facility The logistics centre is located in the Bremen freight village on Ludwig-Erhardt-Strasse. It has a storage area of 37,000 sqm in 4 halls. The shell consists of a precast reinforced concrete element structure with a 24.80 m x 18 m / 18.60 m x 18 m column grid (approx. 250 columns, 350 girders, 60 holding beams). The building itself is a precast reinforced concrete structure with trapezoidal sheet steel roof cladding with fire-resistant insulation. The facade is a mixture of precast reinforced concrete elements and steel cassette wall. The logistics space in the building is designed for Oldenburg-based novelty retailer Nanu Nana Einkaufs- und Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH. A washed concrete facade faced with broken basalt lends architectural emphasis to the distinctive building entrance giving access to the 900 sqm administrative section.
